so today I was looking at my friend's iPhone (Annie's)

and i found she had a flashlight app and I said, "you have a flashlight app."

she said, "hey it comes in handy"

so i decide to see how it works and click the icon

i press the on button multiple times, but see no light (we were at barnes and noble so it was bright)

Amy suggested I turn it around to see the light.

Like the genius I am, I turn it around but it's off.

So I position myself with the phone a mere 3-5 inches from my eyes, the flash bulb pointed at my face, and press the button on the other side where the screen was.

Mistake. I flashed myself with the light and reeled over, with Annie and Amy laughing at me hysterically.
