Duet (starter for sdhs-pianist)

Sweet, sweet notes and beautiful music filled its creator's ears.

The creator, to be exact, was a young man with light blond hair and a gentle smile on his face. To be even more exact, he was sitting in front of a piano, in the music room in what he called Japan's gem: Hope's Peak.

His fingers moved from key to key, as if they were dancing with no master. With no partner but the smooth surface of the piano keys. The boy, on the other hand, didn't move. He didn't dance. Instead, he just sat there, smiling to himself as his hands created the most wonderful sound he could imagine.

To be honest, though, it was nothing special. Nothing more but a boy sitting in a large and empty room, with no company but the piano. It was the usual thing. Maybe someone would come. Yes, he thought, someone would come. It was just a matter of time, and then he-

"Hello there."

He didn't feel the need to say anything more to the person standing next to him. A part of him, though, managed to slip a few words past his lips.

"It's been quite lonely until now, don't you think?"
