Getting to know me!!!!

Nicknames:  Hmm.  Never really been a nickname kind of girl, but there was a brief period where a friend of mine called me, “Bella.”  To this day, she still slips and calls me that but she’s the only one allowed to do so.  :) 

Current time and date: 9:45pm July 6th 2015

Birthday: I’m a proud-as-fuck libra.  I am very, very libra. 

Average amount of sleep: I love sleep.  I blame my previous job for how much I love sleep because prior to it, I preferred four hours and a night with two good books.  Now, I will cut you if you get between me and my sleep.  

Lucky number(s): No lucky numbers.  :(  My luck is always associated with a feeling.  I attempt to intuit things and go horribly wrong but that’s my go-to form of luck

Last thing I googled: This will read strange but a 2014 Slovak film called Laska na Vlasku

First word that comes to mind: Peppercorn????  (I like food)

One place that makes you happy: Maplewood, NJ

Favorite characters: Oh man, I always hate these questions because every answer flees before them.  So, for my teenage self - Pacey Witter; pretty much every character in the film, Dangerous Liaisons; Leda Swan from my favorite romance; Jane Eyre; Ann Bernard (because my heart breaks for her every time I read that book and she makes me cry every time); Antigone - this is pretty recent but she fired my blood and broke my heart and left me a crying weeping mess by the end of the play. 

Favorite food: Fried pork chops. 

Favorite drink: Coca-cola

Favorite book: A tie between The French Bride and Rilke’s Book of Images

Favorite TV show(s): Coffee Prince and Agatha Christie’s Poirot; strangely, I draw a line between my obsessions and my favorites.  I am very sure there are more but these are confirmed every-year-whole-life favorites. 

Last movie I saw in the theaters: Spy and Jurassic World

Last holiday: July 4th/U.S. Independence Day!!!!! 

Dream holiday: Turkey.  Instanbul.  Give it to me.  

Dream wedding: when I was a teenager my bestie and I poured through wedding mags every day after school, completely obsessed with the perfect wedding dress.  Now, I can’t even imagine it, lol.  I think I just need a great, jovial atmosphere, good food, happy family and a good man.  :)
