Completed a difficult milestone recently and was rewarded a sacred #SignetRing for accomplishing it. In past eras, these sacred seals were worn by Kings, Popes, Bishops, Roman Emperors and other high ranking officials and nobemen as a sign of their nobility, importance and power. They were used to seal important documents and if a person was found in possession of a sacred seal that was stolen the punishment was death. I was not worthy to wear one for many years. I use to be a very different man. In certain areas of my life I did not meet the obligatory requirements to wear such a sacred seal so I chose not to. Looking over that history, a drastically different man emerged over time from being polished down from the experiences, successes, and failures of this journey.
