Here’s those answers though: =) 

F. What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

I guess this depends on how you define a fandom experience. In terms of participating and making and writing things, Emmerdale (and Robron) would be my first (and longest) fandom experience. In terms of watching or reading and then looking up and reading fic, it would have to be Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Doctor Who (I literally fell into both during the same summer). So more than 10+ years ago, now seeing as I still read theories and watch and discuss those things with friends. 

I. Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

Hmm… Not really. I tend to fall out of love with things quite rarely because I am stone cold trash like that. But tumblr fandom has taught me a lot about critiquing the works I love (especially Harry Potter) and shown me the different lenses through which I can view that stuff and how it can lead to a richer experience for me as a fan. 

K. How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom?

I think I’ve been very fortunate in that I’m having a very lovely experience and have pretty much enjoyed the company of most everyone I’ve spoken to. This is an insanely talented fandom and some of the fics and art and gifs that people produce are mindblowing sometimes. I cannot believe I’m fortunate enough to be friends with some of them, and be involved in some of the creative processes for stuff. It really is one of my favourite things in the world. 

L. Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for?

So. I’ve been fortunate in that @robronsnuggles and @illgetmerope have literally made my dreams come true by drawing all my heart’s desires. (Especially Snuggs in terms of my Big Bang. I cannot state this enough. Each piece of art is my child and I cannot love it any more than I do already. The level of thought and detail she managed makes me tear up on the regular as I continue writing it.) Also, everything Anna makes is a treasure so I’m set for life on that front. 

Gif-wise, @whatdiknow and @omarandjohnny have given me the AU gif-sets of my dreams. Wait till you see what Marj made my Christmas calendar fic. I died. (Johnny’s Addam’s Family set is one of the best birthday presents of my life.) 

Visually though, if someone manages to produce a Hades-Persephone or Apollo-Icarus edit for Robron, I’ll internally combust because that speaks to my soul. (That or drawing Robert and Aaron as Venom and Eddie, because I know who I am and it is trash.) 

Fic-wise, I low-key want anything Queliot @thesnowyswan might produce, as well as maybe a Midsummer Night’s Dream AU for Robron, because she knows her Shakespeare and I think she’d actually kill me with it. It would be that, or @robertjacobsugdens ‘s X-Men AU I’m dying to read and @vckaarrob ‘s possible future teen slasher fic. Alex actually already made my dreams come true by writing a writer-agent AU that you should read and I’m still recovering from both Vic’s zombie and soulmate AUs. (P.S. @vicbartons ‘ Christmas Calendar fic was also a surprise gift that made my life.) 

I guess what I’m saying is that I’m very lucky and I’ve been spoilt rotten this entire year because I keep finding and falling in love with stuff and have amazing friends who keep surprising me with stuff. 

O. Choose a song at random, which OTP does it remind you of?

I’ve been listening to Of Monsters and Men a lot lately, and one of my favourite songs on that, “Wolves Without Teeth” reminds me of both Robron and Symbrock. (I recommend that whole album because you’ll just feel it in your bones. Or at least I do.)

I tried looking up both of these posts (on my laptop and mobile) and I don’t see the warning “flagged” anywhere. usually, it’s located at the top and bottom so that I can ask them to review it but.. it’s difficult to do it when I can’t see it. I also double checked my email and they’ve sent me nothing about flagging my posts.. I don’t know what to do😪

#6 "On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, the late sunlight glowing in your hair" :3

England was in the midst of a heatwave, an unusually hot June making for endless sunny days, pub lunches in the sun, quiet evenings in their garden, sharing a beer. It was nice - Robert had never done well with the cold, despite being Yorkshire born and raised, and he liked how the golden sunshine felt on his skin, how it always felt as though it warmed him up from the outside in.

He was at his best, in the summer.

Nudging the fridge closed with his hip, Robert made his way back outside, Aaron panned out on their garden furniture, soaking up the last of the days sun. His husband really was beautiful, Robert decided, taking a moment to stand, and admire Aaron.

He’d let his hair grow out, a bit anyway, the shaved sides a thing of the past, hair growing to the point where it was almost curly, soft, dark strands Robert loved to tug his fingers through. Aaron was wearing a pair of shorts and a thin t-shirt, confident in himself in a way that still felt new, still made Robert’s heart feel like it was wrung out with pride, with the overwhelming pride he felt for the other man, the strength his husband possessed.

Aaron was beautiful, in every way a person could be beautiful, from the inside out, and Robert couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across his face, wide, and genuine, and real.

“You going to stand there all day, or are you going to give me a beer?” Aaron called, squinting at Robert from behind the lenses of the sunglasses he was wearing. They were Robert’s, a sleek pair of Raybans he’d bought when they were in Paris, but they’d become Aaron’s, really, moving from the glovebox of Robert’s car, to Aaron’s own, over the last few weeks.

Robert didn’t much mind, not when his husband looked as good as he did. It was a sunny Tuesday afternoon, evening now, really, and there was sun glowing in Aaron’s hair, and his husband was grinning like there was nowhere else he wanted to be, and well - life was pretty fucking perfect, if you asked Robert.

“I love you,” Robert breathed, all of a sudden overwhelmed by how much he truly loved Aaron, how much he adored him, every tiny detail of him, overwhelmed by how grateful he was to get to spend his life with someone like Aaron.

Aaron scrunched his nose up, shifting on the chair, leaving enough room for Robert to slide in beside him. “I love you too, you sap. Now give me that beer, I’m gasping.”

TMS is one of my most favorite Robron stories ever. i can't thank you enough for writing that, it's just SO MUCH work to do a chaptered fic like that and wrap it all up and just, i love love love it!!! you're amazing for risking such a complicated, delicate plot like that and you've done it so well! that story is a gift to the fandom. it's one of the first robron fics i read when i got into them last year and i read the first 40+ chapters in two days, it was just SO GOOD! thanks a lot :D
