I'd like to strongly recommend http://seattlish.com/ for following local politics. They have a social justice lens and are good at slicing through the crap to explain what's actually happening. Recently they've been watching a group called Forward Seattle very closely. Forward Seattle has been fraudulently collecting signatures in "support" of the $15 minimum wage by telling people that it wasn't passed into law. What their petition actually supports is countermanding the minimum wage hike.
