Sebek’s Teeth
The artifacts known as Sebek’s Teeth come in a variety of configurations; from mundane totems to truly powerful artifacts. The configuration most commonly found is the individual tooth. Some teeth are plain crocodile or alligator teeth etched with at least one rune. Through the use of limited AHS (Applied Hypothetical Science), while using these teeth, low-level initiates are able to channel a bit of Sebek’s savage nature. Necklaces made of several teeth are a rarer sight and only used in more sophisticated rituals involving seasoned AHS practitioners (as in CASE: SKIN BACK). These larger rituals typically involve transformation of some kind. Regardless of the size or quantity of teeth the purpose is the same: channeling the unbound ferocity of Sebek.
Note: though Sebek and their followers are most often associated with crocodilians, other large lizards have been used in ritual practices.
