Final day: Enmesharra The Calamity King

Enmesharra was among the ancestors of Enlil, an older generation of gods, and appears in myths commonly as an antagonistic figure. In one he contends with Marduk (With Nergal as a jailer) in another with Enlil. In some of these he is killed (put to the sword or burned) but in one, his children the Sebbitti (2and to bottom panel) are beheaded in his place, and he escapes. I like the idea that he represents a sort of “primordial chaos” that contends with Enlil’s order.

He is described as having a “spleandor”/radiance which is taken from him and given to Shamash in one of his executions. (Bottom panel)

A lot of my characterization of him comes from a game of DND that me and some of my friends played, where he was a flayed man in a gold suit as a result of his execution.

sebitti, reviewing his old lair for flightofbabylon! 

The pirate-clad coatl flutters down to the Hanging Gardens, looking around at the familiar surroundings with a grin. It's nice to come back and visit! 

Hey everyone!! I'm back to do reviews!! How're you all going? Is the clan doing ok in my (admittedly devastating) absence? 

Nobody is particularly impressed with this entrance, so Sebitti gets down to business. 

Well, if it isn't Ninmah! Gorgeous as always, I still love that Current gene on you. And that accent! It's just beautiful! I think it's really fitting for the clan leader.... Although the leader of my new clan is a bit different. 

Lyanna! That new accent! It looks amazing on you, you know that? I know it's from the Arcanist's festival and all, but it just really brings out your natural beauty. I'd like to plunder that booty, if you know what I mean.

He winks. It falls flat. Nice going, Sebitti.

Your colors are just excellent! Tell you what, I was thinking about starting a new pirate crew, entirely of coatls with colors like ours. What do you say? ....Yeah, I didn't think so. But still, excellent genes. My compliments to your parents. 

I leave the clan and less than a month later the whole place is awash with attractive male coatls. I see how it is. But really, the accents around here are just brilliant. You look so good in florals! And I never thought I'd say that to anyone!

And apparently, also awash in attractive female coatls as well! How're you doing? Has anyone ever told you that that circuit really brings out your eyes?

....But speaking of female coatls, I have a mate in my new clan, so I should probably not flirt with everyone for much longer. It was great to see you all, but I should get going!

lair review for heroicflightrising! by sebitti the pirate king, who actually really hates water. 

A hat-wearing coatl swoops into the Starwood Strand, alighting on the ground with a devilish grin. 

Greetings, one and all! I am Sebitti, the one and only. I have come here to review the members of this lair and determine who reigns supre-- I mean, I'm here to do reviews.

WELL. That armor is just... Wonderful! And I do like the way it mathces that scarf. Madam progenitor here has excellent colors, if I do say so myself. Although, I must wonder, is that flower crown going to get damaged in a fight?

Apparently everyone in this clan likes flowers! Perhaps it's a symptom of being in the Arcane flight. I do like this pair's matching armor, though, and I might have to get a set of those gauntlets for myself....

AVAST! There's a creature coming this wa--  Oh, it's just a coatl with a skull on. You're looking very bright there, you know that? I like it!

What a fine example of an Imperial! That apparel! The skin-familiar match! You, sir, are a credit to your species.

......Even if you are a furry. 

Aha! A rare and mysterious NANA. I know how to communicate with these, everyone stand back!!

He clears his throat.
