Secondary Memory is an android pony completely made of metal with a velvet covering. Her core is a magical gemstone housed in a fabricated heart casing. This gemstone is connected to the gemstones in her wings, powering her flight since she is a pegasus model. Memory is very new to realizing she is an autonomous being, meaning she is just barely developing a personality of her own.  She is shy, but curious with a hunger for knowledge.  She takes her time deliberating things. क्या आप जानते हैं कि मेमोरी क्या है Memory kya hai ( What Is Memory in hindi ) आप में से ज्यादातर लोग Computer का इस्तेमाल तो करते ही होंगे लेकिन कभी आपने यह सोचा है कि Computer पर जो हम कार्य कर रहे हैं उसके सभी Data कहां Store होते हैं और यह Computer Memory में क्या भूमिका निभाते

Computer Memory इंसान के दिमाग की तरह ही भंडार ( Store ) करने वाली एक इकाई होती है जो छोटे-छोटे भंडारण इकाई से बनी होती है जिनका प्रयोग किसी Program के सूचनाओं को Store करने के लिए किया जाता है इन सूचनाओं का उपयोग या तो प्रोग्राम के पहले खोलने या फिर अंतिम परिणामों के तहत Store करने के लिए किया जाता है इसमें विभिन्न अलग-अलग मेमोरी इकाइयां होती हैं जो इनके उपयोग के साधनों पर निर्भर करती हैं Memory के लिए प्रचलित साधन Integrated Circuit Memory , Magnetic Tape , Magnetic Disc के भी हो सकते हैं

Computer के लिए Memory एक अनिवार्य इकाई है क्योंकि इसमें प्रोग्रामो को Store किया जाता है जिसका कार्य Data को store करना होता है Memory CPU के सीधे संपर्क में रहता है इस लिए इसे मुख्य मेमोरी / प्राइमरी मेमोरी कहा जाता है और जो Backup Memory का कार्य करते हैं उन्हे सहायक मेमोरी / द्धितीयक मेमोरी कहा जाता है

मेमोरी में Primary Memory , RAM , ROM , Cache Memory तथा Secondary Memory में Hard Disk Drive , Compact Disk , Hard Drive , Pen Drive , Memory Card इत्यादि आते हैं Primary Memory एक Volatile Memory और Secondary Memory एक Non Volatile Memory होती है
