Vent moment!!
So, my house is on a corner. I love it!! I only have neighbors on two sides of my house, Yes!! (The goal is to eventually have No immediate neighbors, but that's for later in life)
There is a *very* bright security light in our alley. (Not entirely a bad thing because our neighbors back there are sketchy)
We are catty corner (diagonally) from the local high school, this is also good because my husband and I are both teachers. Two minute walk to work? Goals.
HOWEVER, I CANNOT GO OUTSIDE AT NIGHT TO SEE THE MOON OR STARS BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY DAMN SECURITY LIGHTS I CAN'T FUCKING SEE ANYTHING!!!!!
Backyard? Bright light. Front yard? Bright. Light. North side yard? Bright! LIGHT! South side yard? TREES!
Being a person that has always cherished the stars, and being a witch that loves the moon, THIS IS VERY DISTRESSING FOR ME.
