Crying about bloodymary because I was thinking in what circumstances they would say "I love you" to each other for the first time. I imagine it would happen some time after being on Erid and Grace explaining being aroace to Simon and him being like totally okay with that, and just, they would be on the bed together, maybe hugging, slowly falling asleep, and one of them would just say it. No stress about thinking this will lead to some kind of uncomfortable explanation of how they perceive relationships, commitment, romance or sex, because that's behind them already. Zero buildup, zero fireworks, this wouldn't be some big confession, because at this point they know already how much they care about each other and it would just be peaceful and natural and so soft ಥ‿ಥ
