I used to be a feminist, when feminism sought to raise women UP to achieve equality. But Third Wave Feminism now seeks to tear men DOWN in a misguided attempt to do the same thing. And it not is only hurting men, its hurting women and our efforts, setting us back years by insisting women are victims, men are profiled as dangerous, and perpetuating theories like rape culture and patriarchy that do not exist in western society.
Men have their own issues, like custodial inequality. Did you know that women gain 80% of parental custody, and men only 20%? If we had equality, it would be closer to 50/50 because surely there are as many bad fathers as there are bad mothers.
And how do you feel about men having 0 reproductive rights, even over their own potential progeny?
Why are there no men's shelter's or help for domestic violence victims when men make up a large percentage of domestic violence victims?
How about the fact that there are more male victims of rape in the US than female?
And why would there be a difference in 'power' when two people are drunk and they both have sex through drunken consent? In an equal society, either no one is taken advantage of or they both are. To view it as the women being less mindful during an equal exchange of drunken consent, is prejudice and bias and views us women as weak and powerless. But that's how Third Wave Feminism defines women.
I challenge you to read of these men who were raped by women. Their stories will break your heart. Women aren't 'victims' any more than men are 'evil'. There are people who will do bad things, but that is anybody of either sex. Women can be child molesters. Women can be domestic abusers. Women can be rapists. Read these posts, if you dare to change your biased viewpoint that sees women as a group, as victims.

My point is, that now that we know that men have their own issues, a fem-centric activism is no longer needed. Feminism does not address these male issues, and has never worked for any men's issues. In fact, Third Wave Feminism not only officially maintains that men have no issues that need worked on, but openly mocks 'male' issues and attempts to silence men who work for men's issues. Moreso, they profile men as dangerous.
Many current followers of feminism do not realize that its acknowledged leaders are fully what we have called 'feminazis'. It used to be just a few, but now the 'feminazis' run feminism activism. And they are batshit insane. They portray women as perpetual victims without voice, power or agency, and for whom even a shirt seen on tv, will trigger them into angry inability to function in society. They profile men as dangerous. And feminism's current naive followers are tricked into thinking feminism still has its earlier ideals of 40 or even 25 years ago.
Third Wave Feminism holds men responsible for all societal ills, and women not responsible. This holds women back. As someone who has worked hard for feminism in the past when it did work for equality and to raise women up, and who holds a high powered job in a male-dominated field, I could no longer call myself a feminist when it went 'man-hating crazy'. Now feminism causes harm to young women by perpetuating and profiling men as dangerous, until young women fear men and achieve a perpetual-victim mentality.
Any self-respecting and informed woman of today is rejecting feminism now, because we have men in our lives that we love. We have husbands, and boyfriends and fiances that should be receiving the same respect that we as women have. We have fathers, and brothers and sons. We have male colleagues and male friends that we respect and care about. And we are calling out feminism's treatment of men these days, because its reprehensible. And we women won't tolerate feminism's ill-treatment of our men, or perpetuating the women-as-victim mentality, any longer.
TLDR: I used to be a feminist and actively work for it. But feminism got taken over by man-hating leaders and changed, and now it does only harm. Thus people everywhere, and women including myself who used to be involved in feminism, are rejecting it. The only responsible activism for real equality for everyone, is Egalitarianism.
