Her actions are stupid, reckless and rash, and yet she does not stop weaving the spell. Anger fuels her, but she has finally gotten her emotions on hold, and the path before her is startlingly clear. There is no other path for her to take, not now that the reason she had tied herself to Asphodel is gone, leaving behind nothing but one of Pythia's puppets. Her vampire— Her vampire holds her heart, but Yurena had given everything up for August, and she is willing to do so once more if there is even the smallest of chances of destroying the Necronomicron and what destroyed him.

"Senator, we need to talk," she informs Vivianne cooly as she leans back into the chair she has materialized into the mindscape they now share. "Both about the deal the Senate had with Kaan, and August's fate."

The fear and anxiety he felt from the crushing weight of the unknown clung to Zahrya still, jolting him awake from his unconscious state. Immediately he knew something was wrong. He couldn’t feel Alastor and the grass beneath him seemed hostile. There was no possibility of him understanding his circumstances, but spotting Vivianne nearby affirmed she must’ve been the culprit. “Lowly witch, how dare you cast an illusion on me! Alastor is mine now and I will have him back!” Zahrya raises his hand to send terrible thorns to impale Vivianne, but all that shoots in her direction is vacuum dust, much to his confusion and dismay.

Sariel senses the witch from a block away, but it is Rome and sensing a witch it’s not an odd occurrence. What is rather odd is when the witch stops in front of her office, rather than moving along. Curiosity bursts forth, and she settles herself to wait the other out. It seems that the little witchy is seeking her out, and she, for one, cannot wait to see the reason why. It’s always the most interesting requests, when a supernatural intentionally seeks her out despite the reputation her kind has built for themselves. A smile tugs at her lips as she hums a jaunty tune, eyes on her research as she waits for a knock to sound out. Once she does, she allows the victorious smirk to spread through her lips. “Do come in, I know you have been hesitating for far too long and could use a sit, can’t you?”

They didn't have some lost sibling wandering around the realm, so who the fuck was she? He was right to trust his instinct because as Hyperenor cornered her, there was no question about what she was. Power ran through her veins, the same as him. "You can't exist. There is no way a sister was withheld from me for this long, it's simply not possible."

To some, it may have seemed like Octavian was preoccupied with his own thoughts during the summit, but he had been paying attention to every word. Yes, he was known more as a warrior and general, however Octavian’s political acumen was unquestionable. He’d wrangled Senators in many lifetimes and knew how to play the chess game of interaction. The Oracle’s words surprised him with their careful placement, leaving more information in the unsaid than the spoken. It reminded him of his own stances in a way, meaning Octavian had to investigate without revealing his hand too soon. “I would think a witch like yourself would be most eager to eradicate the Asphodel. Their activities have likely impacted your community more than any other,” he says, emerging from the shadows. He’d been waiting like a predator to speak with her. Octavian wanted to ensure they would have privacy. “Why hesitate? We clearly have the manpower to take them down. Why be the voice of mercy?”

There were a number of reasons why a Chancellor would want an audience with a Sovereign. They no longer existed on the same side with an entire city and immeasurable animosity between them. At least, Zahrya has a large amount of it. He’s not been secretive about his recent dislike of witches and won’t soon forget the offenses they helped to commit against Titania, but his visit to Dahlia House had nothing to do with that. In fact, the politics of Rome was the furthest thing from his mind. By taking full advantage of his incorporeal form, he’s able to become nature itself. Spring in its entirety. He is the breeze, the warmth, and the gentle sound of birdsong in the distance all at once, making it easy to slip through the wards of the witch dwelling. He materializes in a gardened area in all his glory, finding amusement in the way the wards only then alarm the coven of his presence. Though reason would dictate that he wouldn’t need to justify himself, or wait too long for the only witch he needs to see. Seers were so terribly annoying in that way. “Only one of you is worth my time. Where is she? I have some things I must say to her.”
