#a dream within a dream#I'm taking it as it needs to be as ridiculous as possible#since that's the whole point they're trying to make#and just going ahead and glossing over the WTF decisions and characterization changes#because that shit happens a lot in cdramas#the fucking terrible emperor making a change on a dime and it's just?? fine?#(or terrible parent)#yeah no I've seen that in a lot of cdramas and it's always infuriating#the characters just unwilling to change and see what's right in front of them?#seen it#the logic kind of falling apart over and over again#seen it too#piles and piles of misunderstandings...yeah#so. in that way it's doing a great job lol#and I'm still enjoying it#liu yuning#li yitong
