Damien smiled at him.  “I would love to accompany you to the coffee spoon.”  he told him honestly.  He had never really been asked out before like this, and he wasn’t aware of the protocols.  Actually... was this a date?  Oh he wasn’t sure, so he bit his lip, refraining from asking and following Hugo.  “I was just getting my wallet in case you asked me to go with you Hugo.”  he admit.  He locked the door behind him and set the alarm.  “Now, shall we?  I am honored you thought I would be the best choice of company for this.”

Quickly, Cedric pulled his eyes from Hugo’s forearms, drawn back into the real world by the teacher’s voice.

“Uh, right, yes,” he cleared his throat, trying his best to seem nonchalant and focus on what he’d actually come to Hugo for, “I’d just been thinking after our meeting about Amanda and had an idea of sorts. I don’t know if she’s mentioned but I’m a writer myself, and I thought maybe with our shared expertise we could put our heads together and come up with something to help get her back on track.”

Damien moved forward and kissed him on the lips.  “I mean, I was not really expecting us to get drunk on wine from our second date and probably not remember our first time together.  But perhaps we could perform an encore later together?  One we will actually remember?  Especially as I would like to go steady with you.”  He hoped the feeling was mutual.

Cigarette smoke drifted through the office, only visible because of the light sifting through closed shades. Atlas pulled the cigarette away from his mouth with a sigh, pitting it out seconds later. The detective stared at the case file in front of him. Putting all the clues together wouldn't be easy, but he always liked the challenge.

A couple moments later he heard a lock at the door. A quick look to the clock told him everything he needed to known. "C'mon in Vega, only you would show up at one in the morning." He said flatly. Atlas had yet to implicate the man in anything, despite him showing up everywhere. At this point, he assumed that the man was just in his imagination

Damien moved to help strip him before tucking him in with the blankets, his clothes were taken to get washed.  Before Damien came back with a thermometer and some cold medicine.  He was very much doting upon Hugo, it was actually a bit cute.  “They will simply have to fund you a substitute.  I am not letting you go into work like this.”  he remarked, checking the thermometer, yes the other was quite sick.  “Let me get you some tea and soup, please stay under the blankets.”  He seemed to take charge, but he had raised Lucien alone.

Damien pinched his forehead.  “Hugo, I thought we were beginning to be more than friends.  It is not a big deal that we slept together last night, is it?  We could be friends... or more... boyfriends possibly?”  he asked shyly.

This really surprised him. He hasn’t been kissed like this in a long time. Why was he kissing him again? He couldn’t remember but, he didn’t think he cared to remember. He slowly pulled away, his face and tip of his ears flushed red.

David pulled away, blushing. "Wow ... that was amazing." He smirked. "Wanna do it again ?" He hoped Hugo would agree, but he wasn't sure that he would.

Hugo had been feeling a bit lonely, seeing how Ernest was not with him this weekend, so he thought it would be a good idea to get out of the house and get some fresh air. He exited his house, his usual suit now swapped for a simple t-shirt and jeans, now debating with himself on where he wanted to go. The aquarium was closed today so that wasn't an option. Maybe he could see if Damien wanted to go to the Coffee Spoon with him. He walked toward the large, dark colored house, knocking on the door.

Damien answered the door with a flourish as always, before he smiled shyly at Hugo.  “I was not aware you were coming over.  You could have sent me a message.  Come in for a moment.”  he remarked.  Hugo was dressed so casually, and Damien liked that.  He rarely ever saw Hugo dressed that way, though he himself was of course in full Victorian regalia already.  He woke at the crack of dawn most days just to make sure that he could get it all done before taking Lucien to school and such.  Finally he had his wallet and everything, coming back to the door where Hugo was waiting.  “So, what brings you here today my friend?”  he asked Hugo, formal as always.
