like wow, Erza watched Jellal be consumed by evil, and had to fight him to the death (technically), while holding on to a sliver of hope that she can somehow save that boy she knew and cared for.

At this point in time (oracion seis arc) Erza had probably accepted the fact that Jellal died in that tower...

only for him to be back!!!! and alive!?!?! right in front of her, in this random place, with NO memory of who he is, what he's done, and anything in between. The ONLY thing he remembers is Erza's name, and he even begs her to tell him who this Erza is and-
