8. How does one comfort the other when the other is in distress/having a panic attack/crying?
They’re both quite tactile, so lots of hugs and touching and soft kisses. Anders often braids and unbraids Selene’s hair (he got pretty good at fishtail braids tbh), either to calm himself down by having something to focus on, or to help Selene to relax. Occasionally Selene has tried this with Anders’ hair, but he fidgets too much when he’s distressed or agitated, so she tends to just stroke his hair instead.
Also, despite Anders’ annoyance at Blue trying to sleep in their bed on multiple occasions, the mabari is actually great at cheering him up with snuggles. In secret. Because no one can ever know he has a soft spot for that mutt (Selene totally knows, and encourages Blue to go hang out with him when he’s upset).
