In light of the current TikTok drama I wanted to share the following article that's been gaining traction. The paper publishing it is a satirical newspaper but this is a legitimate self experiment.

This is not some anti-tiktok statement from me (even though i dont like or use it) and I'm aware that there are many problems surrounding the us ban of the app. But also - stuff like this is dangerous. And I think people should be more aware of that.

surprisingly easy and quickly: typing, making coffee, using spoon, using phone, be subtle at work (✓ one day), Photoshop, using comp (keyboard✓ mouse✓ tablet pen✓), bathroom tasks, buttons, to thread a needle
surprisingly hard: to slice bread(✓), put a cream cheese on it (✓ /one plastic spoon: wasted/), hair tie (×), braid (✓)
predictably hard: skateboard pop (✓), bra (✓), handwriting (on the pic), backpack (✓ one shoulder), long sleeves (✓)
slow: drawing (on the pic, 20 minutes g__g), toothbrushing, washing clothes, hair washing, to put on jacket

Day 56 of Weightlifting- Korra Fitness!
A not-so-great day, fellas. :/ But! Still positive!
I started a little self-experiment last week: Every day, I’d tell myself to “Make Today Great.” No matter what I did, I’d put 110% extra effort into making everything as great as it could be. I learned a lot about myself, and I honestly felt as if I could move a mountain range if I wanted to.
Unfortunately, I burned myself out HAHA. Which happens! Like, all the time. No worries. It was an experiment anyways, and I’ll still live by this motto- except knowing when to take it easy/go hard. :’)
Today’s Workout: Legs
5 sets of Barbell Squats- 40 lbs, then 50 lbs
Achievement: I’ve NEVER done squats with 50 lbs- holy shit!! So WOW am I amazed at this :D. Also, incredibly surprised at how light 40 lbs feels. :’)
5 sets of Deadlifts- 2 sets of 90 lbs, 1 set of 100 lbs, and 2 sets of 110 lbs
Isometric Deadlifts- 2 reps w/ each lb
Achievement: 10 reps of 110 lbs deadlifts. WHAT?!?! CRAZY proud of myself, but also, this sucked all the energy I had in me. So...
2 sets of Barbell Lunges- 50 lbs
2 sets of Weighted Calf-Raises- 25 lbs
Achievement: Did 15 reps straight w/ the 50 lbs. SUPER hard- but I’m really glad I got through it :’)
Lesson: Going 100% is super fun and great, but requires LOTS of energy and discipline. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much today, but I’m still REALLY proud I squeezed out those deadlifts. :’)
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go take a nap...
