Oof, yeah that’s a relatable feel alright. I’ve got a few things that might help though.
Firstly, nowadays post-op vaginas do self-lubricate to a degree, depending on the skill of the surgeon and what glands are preserved and whatnot.
Secondly, cis women get wet in different amounts based on the person. A lot of cis women don’t get very wet at all. While it can be a sign of various problems, it’s usually very normal.
Lastly, surgical techniques are improving. The new peritonectomy vaginoplasty seems promising on the stretchiness bit and should self-lubricate better than the penile inversion technique results do. It should also dilate easier during healing which is a blessing. We have to wait and see how they work long-term, but it might be the new standard. Someday we’ll be getting very cis vulvas.
Talk to your girlfriend about this worry. I’m sure she’ll understand.
