A Little Tag Game
So I was tagged by the wonderful — treble-soft-whistle, and the prompt is to say 5 things about me, so here goes!
1) I love long drives into the wooded areas of roads (the best is when sunlight peaks through the trees) & at night in the city, where the lights are always flickering and there are trees and people. I love the sense of endlessness and possibility in those moments :)
2) I really like drawing/ sketching, though for the past couple years (4-ish!) I've been flagging on this important part of my hobby- I hope to pick it up again, as soon as possible after I graduate and continue building on it as I go through the next few years of school and beyond.
3) I grew up in Vancouver and I have just realized that I have fallen in love with the land. I never realized it until some short while ago, but the blue mountains in the distance and trees are so familiar and such a comfort to be close to. I really am a bit of an old soul, haha~! Now, halfway across the continent in the East of the States, it makes me appreciate the beauty of home- that piece of Canada in my heart
4) A couple of my favorite stories/tales are: Lord of the Rings (I bet you never knew... :P), the accounts of Narnia, Jane Eyre, Sherlock Holmes... and still building on that repertoire! Anything with facets (maybe?), and have some strong message that reflects positively on life in general because we all need that encouragement and excitement every now and then outside of just daily living too, ya know?
5) The last one... I am a food nut & sucker for green tea ice cream! I also really like green bean Popsicles & red bean ones (though sadly, I think they only have the really good ones back in Asia :( I also love sugared Hawthorne on a stick- this was my childhood favorite & it's a little on the sticky side!), and bubble tea... these are mainly delicacies for the moment since I don't have them much, haha. One of my current highlights is a cup of hot black tea with cream & honey everyday. I was told by one of my Professors that it is a rather English habit :P Anyhow, I recommend it, a cup o' tea is always good on a cold/ snowy day, or just any day in general!
