5 years ago today my superhero and I decided to give this crazy long distance relationship thing a try again. 3 years ago today he had closed the distance, taken a crazy cross country move to the frozen tundra for little old me, and asked me to be his companion for life. Now we've just celebrated our second year of marriage, finished another adventure together, and are bracing for the impact of becoming parents to our little superhero. We've had the chance this year now to take visits and spend time with each side of each other's extended family and as I step back and look I'm in awe of the tapestry of love that God has woven by bringing us together, including now a little critter created by Him and our love. It's all part of the bigger story that He was writing all along. Love and life and family are messy and crazy and beautiful big adventures but I wouldn't want to do it with anyone but you by my side.
