Hooray for finished socks. They have been languishing as WIPs for far too long and all it took was a little time to myself to pop the afterthought heels in. I know I should wash and block them but I'm being a rebel and I really want to wear them today. On the outside I will be a sensible and smartly attired scientist. It's been far too long since I did a #toeuptuesday post but I am thrilled that my sock mojo has returned. At the weekend I came across this WIP, started the weekend that DH had his surgery. I sat down to work a few rows and fell in love all over again with the magic of these bold, irregular stripes. This is the first yarn I've used from @muststashsheep - it is the Han Solo colourway if memory serves - and it certainly won't be the last. Just a few rounds of the cuff to do and then I can get it's partner cast on. No second sock syndrome here today.
