[Sneak peak]

We were tasked to make a learning module in our Social Studies Education class, and the topic assigned to me and my partner is the corruption and ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos regime (some groups got the First Quarter Storm, the Declaration of Martial Law, People Power I, and many other topics listed chronologically).

Given the broadness of the topic, we settled on Imelda's wealth and focused on digging up whatever dirt we could find. In the end, the project was satisfying (we're proud of it). It turned out to be more of a magazine and character study in the guise of a high school learning module. I didn't expect that we'd be this engrossed in keeping tabs with the process of recovering the ill-gotten wealth (which remains to this day an unsolved case). Personally I was overwhelmed, even amazed, but overall felt betrayal. I knew of course of the corruption, the billions stolen, but I didn’t know there’s still so much more to uncover.

We'd like to share the final output to everyone who may be interested; as we do have the right to know about these issues. We'll publish it online soon.

"Selya"

Aug.9 ng madaling araw nagkakilala tayo. Nagpakilala ka sa akin bilang Selya. Maniwala ka man o hindi... mula noong Aug.11 hanggang ngayon hindi ako tumigil sa paghahanap sayo. Ewan ko kung bakit. Sabi ko sa sarili ko nung una wala ito, pero alam mo sa paglipas ng mga araw unti unting nagbago. Mula pag gising ko ikaw agad naiisip ko... nakakatawa diba. Gumawa ako ng twitter ,insta. baka sakaling ito ang maging daan para makita ka. Lahat ng gumagamit ng pangalang "Selya" tinignan ko profile yung iba in-add ko.

hello! maraming salamat sa pagpatak ng 1k followers! kahit inactive na ko lately dahil dinagit na ng realidad. makakagawa rin ako ng content pag may oras na muli! padayon, kapatid, ibigin at ipaglaban lang ang bayan.

i log back here after a long while and wow old stuff are getting more notes than the usual aaa! is it because fourth quarter na and it’s that time of the year for the el noli season? hmmmmm
