I have this bloody stupid theory about how bolt paper was discovered.
It was discovered when a Mensis student accidentally dropped some important study papers down into the pen where they were keeping Paarl. Obviously he needed those papers back, but who in their right minds would go in there with a deadly darkbeast? It was only luck that a group of powderkeg hunters were nearby that night.
So, long story short, they got in there with Paarl, got what was left of the papers, but found that they could actually carry a charge after being exposed to the darkbeast. And that’s how. :3
