(Hauyne stomps into camera range, scowling. She didn't seem to notice the innumerable bruises and cuts littered across her arms or that she had left a trail of seawater behind her, though from the dark expression she's currently donning it's more likely that she wasn't in the mood to care that she's a bloody mess.)
(As if on cue, Orion enters the room. He jumped slightly upon noticing the sorry state Hauyne is in, and immediately dashes out of the room. Seconds later, he returned to the scene - towel and first-aid kit in hand - and offered it to the scowling girl. She tentatively accepts it, her previously dark countenance softening into a grateful smile.)
"Should I ask what happened?" asked Orion in a dry tone. Despite his teasing words, it was plain as day that he was absolutely relieved to see Hauyne relatively unharmed.
"No," was the only response the girl deigned to give, as she towelled herself dry.
(She hissed in pain when she accidentally brushed over a still-bleeding cut on her arm. Orion shook their head in mild exasperation; just why is this girl so damn stubborn?)
(He sat down on the floor, gesturing for her to follow suit while he opened the first-aid kit. She wordlessly settled beside him, nervously averting her gaze. No words were exchanged as Orion cleaned and bandaged her wounds, save for the occasional wince and soft hisses.)
(Inwardly, Hauyne wondered the last time someone else had tended to her. Having lived alone in the years leading to her displacement into the Pokemon world, she was forced to fend for herself with no one to look out for her. It was harsh... but there was something gratifying about it. Independence, perhaps? Either way, she wasn't used to people taking care of her; it was usually the other way around, especially so in recent months.)
'Still, maybe I could get used to this...' she thought to herself.
