He's got no biological relation to Aaron, but Henoch dotes on him like he was his own son. When the day's work was done (or could be reasonably postponed in favour of playtime), Henoch was first in line to play brave Sir Aaron's noble steed, the dragon to be slain or anything else, with Raphael and Gabrielle relegated to the princess to be saved and whichever role Henoch wasn't playing.
It's complicated, working out how they should act to each other and to other people. Wouldn't want to give up what they have for anything in the world, though. They'll manage somehow.
