Biggest turn off’s in fics?

ohoho I’m not a fan if the antagonist is Lisana. That was the rage for a while (is it still a thing? I haven’t read ft fics besides my friends for a bit) and I hated every second of it. 

Another would be if the characters themselves are too OOC. It’s difficult to get lost into a story if they’re suddenly doing 180*s every chapter.

Fav trope/scenario/element & what’s a character you can’t see in pain? I live for the whole “sign into a hotel/etc. and there’s only one bed!” thing. I’m not even ashamed of it anymore. there’s been a mix up? there’s no other rooms available? gimme gimme. 

And a character I can’t see in pain is Keith from Voltron: Legendary Defender. even though I read and write him experiencing pain
