So I’m working on some planning for a trilogy that I have in my WIPs folder. And I figured out how I want to set up the trilogy, but the way I’m doing it kind of rips my heart out a little bit.

Book One ends with a character death.

Book Two goes back in time and shows everything that lead up to said character’s death.

And Book Three begins with the character’s funeral.
