He placedthe knife on the other’s neck and smirked. He was gone, Damuron’s mind wasgone. Whatever triggered this violent response from him was enough to make his rageconsume him; he had traveled from Illyccia to the Tolbycia one just to kill him.

Heavy breathingaccompanies his broken voice as his hand, that was shaking, grabbed Alexei’scollar.

“You sendus there to die. Just for you and your ambitions” the knight mumbled as hestarted to sniffle and sob, knife every time more close to the other’s neck andin some second pressing Alexei’s skin.

“ Send usto the monster trap. We didn’t even knew about that place, we even arrived tothe wrong city , you never told us about WHOor WHAT we were protecting.”

Humming, he took out something from hisbelt, something shiny but at the same time,  taking this opportunity to hit and before theother could defend himself  , he hit theother’s neck with a needle.

Some hours passed;there was a huge fire on a forest nearby Capua Torim Forest. The lieutenant’shead was resting against the frame of the window as he watched the sea. He wastired and somehow empty.

“ Now , noone remembers me , no one remember us” He mumbled as he crossed his eyes. When wasthe last time he felt like this? Maybe when he woke up some time ago. “ Goodbye Alexei Thank you for everything.”

“Sir!”

Casey’s voice was a rushed breath, feet carrying her quickly across the space. She kept her wits about her- heaven only knew if there were others here- but she reached for her canteen regardless and knelt beside him. Gently, so gently, she dripped a small amount of water down to him to help wet his parched lips. Once she was certain he would neither choke nor die of thirst, she surveyed his condition with an eye made impartial by desperation. Emotion had no place here, not until he was safely freed.

“I can get those bonds undone. Save your strength, whatever you have to tell me can wait until it’s done. Just stay still, alright?”

With that, she produced a small knife she kept for situations where a sword was just impractical and began sawing carefully through his bonds. Hopefully he would be alright- she had no idea how long they had left Alexei lying here in this state. She could patch up the worst of his wounds with her blastia, but she could not do much more than stabilize him.
