Most calligraphers, although they pretty much know all the scripts, they usually just specialize in one. I myself take pride and joy in the Maghribi scripts i.e Maghribi Mabsut, Thuluth Maghribi, the old Maghribi script, and Maghribi Mujawhar Al Jalil. But I also do the other scripts on a regular basis. Sometimes I will get headaches. Calligraphers who know more than one script will understand.
