“Hopes for next season: Sui/Han don't get injured, Yuzuru doesn't get injured and dominates the field, Jun Hwan rotates fully and corrects his lutz edge (and gets the international results to show for it), Jason Brown wins more medals, Shoma gets more confident, and Evgenia has a solid season“
It’s only 12:30 pm and I’ve already got myself together: eat breakfast, get dressed, take meds etc.
I’m already done with my first exam and I think I’ll order lunch and do a load of laundry before the second one. I also need to finish off my research paper thesis and outline today. Plus I have 16 hours of read/listen time on an audiobook for class, and a movie to watch. Oh, and over 10 hours of read time for my other class. I’m literally d r o w n i n g in work and I’m trying to not have a panic attack.
“I only care about thing that happen on the ice. Who cares if Tessa and Scott are dating or not, they have chemistry during routines and that is all that matters. I am not forced to like Misha Ge's choreography just because you tell me he is friends with Yuzuru Hanyu. Prejudices against skaters because of their trainers ('ew, another Eteri girl, I thought I actually liked her skate. .. ') are the worst. Please judge by performance, not reputation or gossip.“
[Encrypted] Keeper, It is of the highest importance that you dedicate resources to locating the Graduates of Project PATRIOT. While PATRIOT was ultimately deemed a failure in both cost and its production of results, these eleven surviving individuals are among the deadliest and most intelligent individuals ever to come out of an Imperial training program. With records erased and and the information surrounding them and their training on a need to know basis, It is expected that we find them and ensure they continue their work for our Empire with the greatest use of their skills. Just one could turn the tide of the next war. Find them. I expect regular reports.
In the aftermath of the Treaty of Coruscant, the Dark Council approached the Minister of Intelligence with a directive: determine the extent to which the body could be refined when it came to training the next generation of Imperial Agents.
Known only to few, referred to as Project Patriot, a joint experiment began between Imperial Intelligence and the Sphere of Biotic Science, a trial in a new education technique with its focus on physical resilience, mental extent, and the instillation of unwavering loyalty; how, without chemicals or augmentations could the young of the Empire be refined to better serve the Emperor.
150 young students were selected through an Empire spanning exam, many of whom had already been being groomed by educators to become the next wave of Military Officers, Strategists, and Ciphers. Taken from their families, all the subjects between 9 and 12 years of age, the group began the 8 year experiment, starting with the erasing of their name. All of them became numbers. Their number indicative of their rank compared to the rest. There was a vested interest among the students to rise in rank: the better one performed, the better their options, living quarters, and privileges. It also served another purpose: to discourage codependency and friendship in favor of selfish survival.
Over the years the scientists watched and rated the subjects as they endured grueling physical training, advanced education and simulations of law, military strategy, anatomy, technology, and history. They were dropped on hostile worlds, made to carry out sabotage and subterfuge against various enemy parties. Subject to torture, food and sleep deprivation, and resistance to mind control, in the pursuit of perfection, the constantly monitored students were being made into living weapons. When out in public, if asked were they studied, the students could not reveal what they were going through, they simply called it ‘the academy’.
It was not long into the experiment that the subjects started dying, either from the horror and strain of what they were put through, or to other students keen on moving up in the numbers list. By four years in, 46 of the original 150 had died, were murdered, or simply vanished. Despite the heavy casualties to the intensive program, the scientists were seeing promising results, and the tests continued.
The final four years saw a rapid rise in fatalities, especially as graduation drew nearer. The final exam was the ultimate test of everything they’d learned, the final 39 students were each deposited at a different point on a deadly moon, armed with only a faulty stealth generator, the disassembled pieces of a blaster, and a small portion of data that needed to be combined with others in order to reveal the actual goal of the test. There were no rules. Only the best would pass.
In the end, only 11 graduates finished, the other 28 dead.
Though the experiment succeeded, and the young new agents the epitome of Imperial dedication and loyalty, ultimately the Minister of Intelligence had to submit himself before the Dark Council to inform them of his partial-failure: while they had succeeded, without chemicals, cybernetics, or mind wipes, and created 11 flawless new weapons for the Empire, the over 92% mortality rate was too high of a cost to make it a new program.
Retaining the number that they ranked upon graduation, their names had been long forgotten in place of their new designation: Eins, Zwei, Kolme, Chatvarah, Hamza, Senio, Septeri, Volsem, Nio, Decim, Elva. By 10 ATC the newly minted agents were ready for their deployment across the galaxy just as tensions began to rise once more with the Republic, the ‘academy’s’ failure filed away in the annals of classified Imperial projects.
The current state and status of the 11 agents is unknown. Their actions are directed almost exclusively by the head of the Sphere of Intelligence. Rumors however place Eins as a special weapon of the Dark Council, a master assassin and infiltrator sent to carry out missions often involving the deaths of rogue Sith Lords and Jedi Masters.

@uldren-sov here I finally wrote up a bit about the program! Id love to introduce the rest of the graduates beyond Senio at some point.
Mostly for my worldbuilding purposes, these 11 Imperial Agents are the only surviving graduates from a secret experiment performed after the Treaty of Coruscant in the Empire's attempts to train the perfect agent or officer for whenever the Cold War ended and the fighting resumed. They are masters in their fields trained for utter precision, flawless execution, and the upmost loyalty. Whomever they were before they entered the 'Academy', whatever their goals, whatever their names, are long since lost. Now they're numbers, one more cog in the Empires war machine.
Eins is not part of Imperial Intelligence, shes mainly the personal assassin for the head of the Sphere of Law & Justice, though as a balance, she technically serves the head of the Sphere of Defense, Sphere of Intelligence, and Sphere of Law & Justice, which ensures that no one Dark Council member could use her against any of the others or for unmonitored personal gain. All records of her OPs and very existence are classified at the highest level that none but those three Dark Council members know of her existance.
Zwei is Regulator One, the watcher of the watchers, the head of the internal-monitors, the secret police of the secret keepers, who reports directly to Keeper and the Minister of Intelligence about the goings on in Imperial Space. While he holds no jurisdiction over Sith themselves, Zwei is authorized to arrest, interogate, or kill any Non-Sith Imperial citizen suspected of treason, or involvement with foreign influences. Elva is Regulator Five.
Kolme is Watcher Four, almost as fast as the biologically conditioned Watcher Two, and a strategist, there he assists Keeper with the planning of large operations.
Chatvarah, Hamza, Senio, and Vosem are: Cipher Seven, specializing in sabotage; Cipher Three, specializing in manipulation; Cipher Nine, specializing in infiltration; and Cipher Seventeen, specializing in reconnaissance, respectively.
Septeri is Fixer Thirteen, a slicing savant and programer, he works on many of the cutting edge surveillance droids.
Nio is Informer Eight stationed on Telos, where he masquerades as a bartender. Decim is Informer Twenty-Six on Nar Shaddaa, where she plays a speeder mechanic.
Due to their skills being far better utilized in field operations, none of the graduates are Minders.
