You can probs get a refurbished Wacom!! They're a lot cheaper and work the same as a new one. Monoprice is good, but their quality check isn't the best [sometimes ships out broken goods]. Genius is pretty good and I haven't heard much bad about them.

I'm not getting it online, though. (Dumb about online shops and shipping and money stuffs.) Although I don't know if it's possible to get refurbished products if I go straight to the shops. Tuesday next week, wait for me.

ALRIGHTY STORY TIME!!! So basically when I was 10 (I made sure to check as I remember it was the summer between 4th and 5th grade) my family went to the beach a lot.

We liked playing in the sea and bought boogie boards (pretty much pieces of strong foam you could kinda lay on with a string attached that had a velcro band to put around your wrist so you don't lose the board) one day and it was just really fun riding the waves plus it was good exercise (wow the outside).

At that time, I was with my brother (11/12 years old at that time) and a childhood friend (8 years old at that time (HOLY CRAP I FEEL SO BAD))

We had been boogie boarding for a bit and the ocean had dragged us out a bit though we didn't notice much.

My sister...I don't remember why was on the beach cause I guess she didn't feel like going into the ocean I guess. She was watching us so she saw this whole thing unfold -> her comment

Alrighty so the 3 of us was out in the ocean when suddenly a huge wave (according to my sister) came over us. 

When that happened, all I remember was that I was looking to the side at that time and noticed there was suddenly a dark shadow over us.... Then the wave crashed on top of us and brought us all under.

I know for sure that if I didn't have that velcro band connecting me to the boogie board I would have surely drowned because when I went under, I didn't react whatsoever.

I never attempted once to swim up to safety and also by some chance, maybe it was because I instinctively angled my body or something like that. But when I went under, I actually hit the ocean floor, not on my head but my chin (though I feel like I could have broke something that way too but better than being unconscious??)

After hitting the ocean floor, I'm guessing my boogie board naturally floated up and dragged me along to shore because during that time I didn't move or breathe and kept my eyes tightly shut the whole time.

In that moment all I remember was silence.

After awhile, I felt my body make contact with with the sand/rocks that can only be felt more on the shore and climbed out.

It seems I was last to come out lol....

Apparently my sister said my brother came out rather quick with no reaction (I could tell he was scared afterwards though), my childhood friend came out gasping for air because she had apparently tried to swim up but another wave brought her quickly back down.

After that we didn't go into the ocean at all....we all became traumatized haha.....

My sister later told me when she was watching the whole event she started getting hysterical and was yelling at us to watch out because she had seen the wave come up from behind us (of course we didn't hear). She also said that she even ran past a life guard in her hysterics but apparently the life guard just looked at her like she was crazy. (*cough*Lifeguardwon'tkeepyousafeintheoceansobecareful*cough*)

When I think about it I FEEL REALLY BAD for my sister because in that instant she must had thought that she had lost half her family + a close childhood friend.

So this is a story about how I almost died/drowned to death

Don't worry!! Isn't she going to grade easy and give 25 free points? I'm sure you did fine! Even not, it's 2nd marking period! Grades don't count for anything, just your efforts count!

LOL she gave me the minimum 25 free points on the lab >>;; Unless she did that for my whole class (we all decided to hand in the lab late since we were all too lazy to do it on time derp) 

Ahhhh hopefully because motivation for school work has reached rock-bottom ^^;

eee thanks melon :3 although they're pretty much like my old glasses except more square and slightly bigger so there's not that much of a difference!
