THE HUSBANDS AND THEIR NOW GROWN-UP DAUGHTER!!1! ✨❤🤧
My new Twitter fan, whos a huge fan of all things Columbia Pictures, managed to make a movie poster of Ryuko and her monster form staring in a B-Movie!
A SenRyuu request I sent on DA.. before I left DA.
Who are OH!Leonardo's favourite poets?
His fave poets/writers are Edgar Allen Poe, Dylan Thomas, and Emily Dickenson. He also likes Japanese haiku and senryuu poetry, particularly by Matsuo Basho. His favorite poem is this one by Matsuo Basho:
夏草や 兵どもが 夢の跡 Natsukusa ya / tsuwamonodomo ga / yume no ato
The summer grasses. All that remains Of warriors’ dreams.
The time of grain rain
The trees have tiny flowers
Yellow and white blooms
In this glacial world will I ever find a place who could warm my heart?
Three Japanese poems
Chapter 13. Semi-literal translations by me.
(Yosa Buson)
translation: “rapeseed blossoms, moon in the east, sun in the west”
短歌 (たんか, short poem with 5-7-5-7-7 rhythm)
(Tawara Machi)
translation: “When asking 'It’s cold, isn’t it?’ The person answering ‘Yes, it’s cold’, is the warmth”
明日野郎、あすやろう = I’ll do it tomorrow 考える = to think バカ野郎, バカやろ = idiot
translation: “Who thinks ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’ is an idiot” by ‘Person who can’t do things right away’.
