ユーザ数が100万人を突破して急成長中の米国発チャットボット「Sensay」。「どんな頼みでも聞いてくれる」というこのチャットボットの仕組みとは？

Facebook、Microsoft、Kik、Telegramなどが先日発表したチャットボットは熱狂的な支持を受け、消費者と直接チャットを行うビジネスツールのゴールドラッシュが始まった。このような新しいチャットボットの登場により、多くのスタートアップがすべての領域に対応できるスーパーボットの開発に取り組み始めた。

しかし、近頃発表されたボットの多くはインパクトに欠けている。

新しいチャットボットサービスSensayはスーパーボットではない。だが、ユーザのどんな依頼に対しても厳選された人物が対応するこのチャットボットのユーザ数は主にSMSベースのサービスだけでも100万人を超えており、共同設立者でCOOのCrystal Rose氏によるとその数は増える一方だという。
