Because you are completely correct. All of the things you have said are correct. 

I mean, I don't expect everybody to know I'm a Pagan (though if someone does, it isn't a difficult leap to determine who's foremost in my personal pantheon. Maybe not the specific Loki I roleplay, but... y'know, the fucking mythological deity maybe). 

However, a passing glance at my blog should provide more than enough evidence that I'm not dicking around with this character. Like. At all. And that I know my shit.

But I thank you for your consolation. I can deal with fuckwits when I know that I am also surrounded and supported by awesome and intelligent people.))

((If I met you in real life I would flail. A lot. Verbally and physically. There would be much fangirling. If you suggested things to do I would be like "okay! sure!" and make incoherent noises of glee and awkwardness to myself... I'm not good at peopling, and I'm a particular trainwreck when I really like/respect those I'm supposed to be peopling with. If I met Loki in real life I would be like a deer in the headlights and would be on my best and most respectful behaviour.))

((♣ I love the flavour of your Loki - a blend of various canons from myth to comic to movie, and also realistic character development - he's recognisable but also his own character. This is about as coherent as I get for things like this because my head goes "how do I love thee? let me count the ways!" but all that comes out is keysmashing and so much love that it makes people uncomfortable.))

Sen came around suddenly once she realised her surroundings. A cell. Chained. Not alone. "L-Loki of Asgard?" She remembered the name, due to the unusual circumstances in which they had previously encountered each other. An attempt to break the chains failed; whoever had seized them knew enough to use anti-magic wards. But shadows aren't magic. Sen melted into her Shadowform, slipped the bonds, & corporealized beside the bound god. "Are you hurt? Know you why we're here? What happened?"

He gives a short nod as she identifies him, then shakes his head slowly and with certain disdain as she tries to magically break them.

"It's no use. Our captors apparently know who they are dealing..."

His eyes widen as she fades and the pressure on his arm from her vanishes. He pushes himself to his feet and rubs the skin at the edge of his shackle

"No, I'm not hurt," he mutters somewhat distractedly. "And I will tell you what happened in good time, but at the moment, there are more pressing matters."

"I don't suppose that little trick of yours can be applied to me as well?"
