even if he's very selective with people that he lets himself get close to, kiha is usually a very friendly person, has no problem in getting along with most people most of the time. after all, he has always a smile for everyone and he tries to be friendly but respectful, to seem approachable because that's the sort of person that he has always been. so it comes to no surprised that indeed he has been getting along quite well with most people that he encounters, no matter if those are brief or not. however, it should come as no surprise that there are the exceptions — and this time he can't even blame it on phoenix's reality show to explain how they don't get along well.
seolji is someone that kiha has a complicated relationship to say the very least — of course complicated being just another word for bad. he supposes that they could've got along well if not the fate always putting them together to collide against each other, be it when she was still a trainee in yuseong ent and they were paired together for evaluations or even during that one time that they ended up producing together and it was a disaster from start to finish.
but of course that kiha is someone who tries to keep it only in the backstage as much of his life that has nothing to do with being an idol even if it's hard to pretend that much and surely his real feelings towards seolji have slipped once or twice in the form of exaggerated aegyo — because he knows that she absolutely hates it — and passive aggressive remarks while seolji bite back with her own snarky retorts. however, everything is just translated to the audience as them having a bickering type of friendship, that kind that one teases the other all the time, a tom and jerry kind of one if you may.
and that's why they're there now, backstage of a music program together with cameras pointed at him and they're supposed to interact because surprisingly their fans do love their interactions, completely unaware of the fact they do not, in fact, get along.
kiha is already tired and they haven't even started yet.
but he still smiles like he's in fact enjoying where he is, still makes phoenix's greeting even if he's not with the rest of the members.
