Cutting carbon emissions is a very worthwhile goal. But despite the fact that the oil and gas industry needs to maximize its efforts to bring about these red, the simple fact is average people are not doing much to change their behavior — for example, with individual car usage. Is denouncing everything the oil and gas industry does the best way? Doesn’t it make more sense to radically expand public transit?
This house is around 35 years old. There’s nothing wrong with it. But it’s being torn down to make room for a newer building. This is happening all along our street.
