While it wasn’t too odd to see Aim playing one of his games, this was a bit...excessive? He looked like he hadn’t slept in days, and Ber hoped that it hadn’t been since the last time he was over that the Sepulcino had gotten any shut-eye. Though right now, as he all but stumbled over the coffee table, and hazy, exhausted eyes looked the halfling over, Ber was starting to think that might have been the case.
Sigh. Honestly, Ber sometimes wondered what Aim would do if he didn’t come to check up on him like this.
“Aim, I’m fine. Aim...sweetheart, calm down...It’s not my blood, it’s okay. I was working, that’s all...” Ber assured the other, shaking his head as he stepped closer to the other. “Here, I’m going to take these off, alright?” Hands reached up, careful not to accidentally touch scarred ears as he pulled the headset from around Aim’s neck, and set it down on the desk.
“When did you sleep last, mm? Come take a shower with me, we’ll get washed up, and then if you haven’t eaten anything yet, we can go grab something to eat and then go to bed. Come on...”

Lips remained in a little pout, but his arms wrapped loosely around Aim’s neck, head dropping to rest on his shoulder. The only gestures given to show that he was pleased that the other had been so quick to set his phone aside. To turn his attention to Ber instead.
“Mm, the second one. I...like I said, I can’t do it on my own. If you could help me out, then it’d be fine, I’m sure of it.” He sighs, shaking his head in frustration. “But after, I’ll give you a good meal in return...Maybe I’ll even let you take control, if that’s what you want.”
Green eyes looked up to cool blue ones, brows upturned fretfully. “I just...please, Aim? I need your help. It won’t take long, I promise!”
@sepulcine replied to your post “"Aww, com'on... can't I just give you one more hickey?" His lips are...”
"Well, you know I go hungry more often than not," comes the growl. "Someone says 'I'm your's' and that's just signing the contract to be chewed up." A sharp canine flashes as he doesn't *ask,* he simply mashes his mouth against Ber's, seizes hold of the other's plump lower lip with his teeth and pulls (but not too hard, surprisingly). "No wan likes dere faces bein' choo'd off, doh," he speaks while holding Ber's lip captive, only to release it seconds later.
“You like it when I say that, then? That I’m yours? Maybe if you’re willing to do a little extra for me, I’d be willing to say it more often.” A low groan, and Ber’s hand comes up to cup Aim’s cheek. He indulges the other with a kiss to soothe the bite, pulling back when the other spoke.
“Mmm, can’t say I’m the biggest fan of it either, honestly. But...” A smile, teasing and enticing as lips trail downward, nipping at the other’s jaw. “There are plenty of other places that I would be more than fine with you sinking your teeth into.”

“Mhm, it is...~” Ber agreed softly, pressing a kiss to the Sepulcine’s throat with a pleased hum. Fingers curled and uncurled in Aim’s hair lazily, giving a gentle tug at the other’s words. “That’s a boyfriend privilege, you know.” The words were teasing, but if Aim could see his face, the implied “If you’re interested...” would be more than obvious.
It was likely that Aim wouldn’t be getting the hoodie back any time soon, but Ber would be sure to leave his own shirt in its place. Not that it would fit the larger male, but if he really liked the halfling’s smell that much, then it might be nice to lounge around with while Ber was away.
And then Aim began to play with his hair, voice the sweetest whisper in his ear, followed by tiny pecks of kisses, and a soothing purr that Ber was getting so used to. If this kept up, he would fall asleep in no time at all. But would that be so bad? He was the one that had asked to be held in the first place. This was what he had wanted, and they’d curled up like this before, he just...
He didn’t expect that it would make him feel so warm. That it would make his heart beat steady, and put his mind at ease. It kind of reminded him of...
“We said we’d take this slow, but...I want you to know why.” Ber murmured, smiling softly. “I was married once before. When I was younger. It wasn’t really a good relationship...not usually, anyway. I still loved him— he was my soul mate. He was killed, though. And when he died, I...well, you know. I can’t die. So it tore my soul up, and...I don’t know, it hurts. And because of that, I’m...” He bit his lip, somehow snuggling even closer. “Love just...scares me.”

One kiss slowly turned to two, then a third, fingers curling and uncurling gently against Aim’s neck and shoulders to hopefully soothe him further to sleep. Ber didn’t mean to wake him up, let alone in such a panic.
“Aim...?” He questioned, sitting up in bed with brows upturned, leaning forward ever so slightly. The worry was evident on his face, and in the way he was acting-- a rare display for the halfling, who was typically so much more averse to showing any serious emotion. Seeing Aim like this though, it made it hard not to. Made him remember his own choking panic that would sneak up on him every so often.
A nod was offered, slow and smooth when Aim warned him not to do that again. But it didn’t stop him from moving a bit closer, voice taking on a gentle, soothing tone. “I won’t. I’m sorry...” He murmured, stopping just in front of the Sepulcino. Shadows slipped toward them from around the room and created a little bubble around the two of them, to close them off from the rest of the room. To keep any other stimuli from possibly making it worse.
Ber did, or course, leave just enough light for Aim to be able to see him. To watch his hands reach out slowly, palms up. “You shouldn’t pull on your hair like that. Here, you can hold my hands, if you want to. Squeeze them as tightly as you need.” He instructed, careful to put his hands outward, toward chest heaving with heavy breaths, as opposed to up toward Aim’s head. Waiting for Aim to make the move to touch him first.
Aim creeps out of his bedroom looking rather nice for a change. Crimson button-up with a deep black tie, tucked into some crisp business slacks. His black hair was combed and slicked. "Ber, hey, uh... you wanna... go out somewhere for a change? I heard there was a new restaurant in town, thought you'd like to hit it up with me, maybe?" Ignore that faint pink dusting across his cheeks, he wanted to be seen in public with Ber -- not hidden away, not a little secret, but his for the world to see.
“Out? You never want to go out, what’s up with that?” At first, Ber doesn’t look up from where he’s lounging on the couch, fingers tapping away on his phone. Just a few notes he wanted to make about his latest experiment, before he forgot about them.
And oh, was that a good idea, because if Aim had come out of the bedroom a moment sooner...
“Well, well, look at you, handsome. Now you’ve really got me concerned. Special occasion? Or did you do something I won’t like, and you want to butter me up before I find out?” Ber hums, pushing off the couch in one smooth movement and making his way over to the Sepulcino. Slender fingers move to straighten the tie, smooth over shoulders, and trail down strong arms appreciatively. Green eyes all but sparkling as they drank in Aim’s image.
“Let me stop home first, and...I think I could swing that. As long as I’m allowed to get dessert too, then...” A moment of hesitation, and Ber’s gaze finally lifts to meet Aim’s. It’s clear that he’s nervous, and uncertain, and his voice is uncharacteristically small when he continues.
“It’s a date...?”
