Ask for the Skeles that wanted or ended up having children
Skeles kid came to them at night and asks skele if they can sleep with him because they had a nightmare. Who would let them stay and who would send them back to bed? (Ouch)
I don’t think any of these boys would ever send their little one back to bed, even the meaner skells would have a hard time doing that!
UT!Sans (Classic) -
Sans is incredibly soft when it comes to nightmares with his kid. They look like a little Paps and having delt with nightmares chronically after his time in the Underground, he knows how bad it can be. Sometimes he'll just let them crawl into bed between you two and let you help him calm them down. You always helped him so much with his nightmares afterall. If he knows you're busy the next day though he'll roll out of bed and scoop up his kiddo. He'll talk them out to the front room and turn on the TV at low volume. He lets your kid pick out whatever they want to watch as he grabs blankets to cocoon them both in. You usually wake up in the morning to your child nestled into Sans shoulder, Sans arms wrapped around them as they dream peacefully.
US!Sans (Blue)-
Blue will want your little bones to grow up strong, but he also melts at their tears. He knows they should learn to self sooth at a certain age, but they are also his baby. He tries to find a middle ground. When you kid wakes him up in the middle of the night, Sans ushers them out so as not to wake you and grabs a piece of paper. He has the kiddo write down what bothered them in the dream, with his help if they are young, and then how they would fix or how it would not happen in real life. Then he will use a little bit of magic to burn the bad dream away. He picks up his little bones and takes them back to bed. If they have a bad enough dream he might let them sleep with you and him, but most of the time you find him sleeping in your child's bed in the morning, watching over them for and more bad dreams.
UT!Papyrus (Papy)-
Papyrus would never let a kid, let alone his kid, deal with nightmares on their own. Even if they are older, he'll still comfort them. His go to procedure is getting up, trying to keep you asleep if your baby bones doesn't need you. He'll scoop up his baby bones in his arms and put them on his hip while singing them lullabies. He takes them to the kitchen and makes them a warm glass of cinnamon milk while making sure they know they are safe and loved. When the little one has calmed down and finished their milk, Papy will ask if they want to go back to bed or come stay in bed with you and him. Many mornings you wake up to Paps curled protectively around your kid, both still out like lights.
US!Papyrus (Honey) -
Papyrus might already be up. His insomnia keeps him up some nights, so your kiddo might just go straight to him. Or Honey will just hear your kid sniffling in their sleep and go comfort them. If they feel too scared, Paps will just set up shop for whatever he was using to pass the time next to your kids bed while telling them bedtime stories. If he still can't sleep, you’ll wake up to a cup of something hot the next morning with Papyrus telling you about the evening happenings. Most of the time though, there's this amazing thing about him telling these stories to your kid that makes him conk right out sitting upright.
MT!Sans (Mob) -
Mob is going to absolutely melt at his kid having nightmares. He has had them since he was little too and was hoping it wouldn't happen to your little bones. He'll hush them carefully out of your bedroom, and to the kitchen, he'll make a quick glass of warm milk and then take them to bed to drink it. He makes sure the kids' night light is on, puts all their favorite plushes on the bed next to them to “protect them”, then will sing them lullabies till they fall back asleep. He might stay for a little while before kissing their forehead and going back to bed.
