Promise
Promise: My character makes a promise to your character.
She's still crying as he keeps her close to his own chest, arms wrapped protectively around her small frame as the tears begin to dampen his shirt. It breaks his heart to see her cry. And it's then he realizes that heartbreak isn't just something one goes through after falling out of love; but when you find someone you truly cherish- and that someone is suffering in ways you can't even imagine.
It's been tough for the past few days; Sehun's been on call for schedules with only kakao to bring them together. It's nothing near enough but they manage. But some nights, it just falls apart. And he's left barren and her cheeks are stained with tears that shouldn't even be falling from her eyes.
The whimpers slowly subside and he's pressing a small kiss against her hair before whispering quiet words, still keeping Sera's head comfortably rested against his shoulder.
"I promise, that one day we can just run away; you and I. And I promise to make more time for you, princess. No matter what comes between us I promise to always be honest and kind towards you. I love you."
