Picture of a Homeless Girl
Little girl grew up too fast never had a chance to ask why being proper meant so much why she was always told to hush
From towns to schools from schools to towns escorted by butlers who never saw frowns At coming out part a princess she was but noone saw the pain underneath the white gloves
None saw he steal into the night through the opend doors running into the abyss to return never more She's happier now though a home she's without prim and proper no more and no need for clout
Pulling dirty white gloves from her tattered knapsack her mind starts to wander as it takes her all back No one ever knew her from the inside out they always just worried that she'd shame them about
Her face is now hardened from the old city dirt if they were to look they'd never recognize her but no-one can see her dreadlock hair covered eyes they all just glare and walk fast to pass by
Could this be your child or could this be your fate pay attention before its too late Take the Chaos away show someone you care know what hurts them so deep in their darkest dispair give them your hand a smile and a prayer let them know that you are one of so many Who really do care
