“Before you ask, I have not thought once of the Mr. Mayor topic,” softly laughed Liliana, before embracing Serenity into a single arm hug now. It had been weeks, three weeks or so, she couldn’t quite remember but things haven’t gotten any better. Although, she couldn’t have locked herself up in her house till the end of eternity. Even though, it seemed promising and something Liliana could get by. Since the ball, she had dealt with the trauma of the incident of Claire and it stay put daily. Each day happened to be simple, not much of activity going on but she didn’t know whether or not energy would’ve been put into play. All she could know was Lili had missed hanging out with Serenity and the kids. Their past encounter had been uplifting, hoping it could only be the same today -- seeing it was needed but she needed to catch up, know what she has been missing. “How are my adorable niece and nephews? I may have a treat for you adorable kids.” Kneeling down, the brunette brightly smiled at the kids before planting kisses on their cheeks. There hadn’t been a moment when Lili didn’t come around with minor gifts for the kids, even if it was chocolate or toys for them. It was best to be prepared than none at all. “I missed you all too much. How has everything been over the past weeks? Feel free to fill me in on everything.” She spoke, standing up from the positioning of her kneeling for the kids earlier.

“Hey Trixie, family, remember? Respect that girl,” shouted Cassie, watching as her daughter played around with the boys and Ana. The mother trusted her daughter, knowing she’d never allow any hair on the younger boys head to be hurt. It was adorable, seeing how confident Trixie was and how loving she had been around them. To know she had kids around her age to play with. They weren’t blood family. No one said blood was everything to make a family. But, her daughter understood what had been applied with her earlier words. She had known the married pairing for years, years where Cassie had stopped counting. That long. All she can remember easier times of her youth, not having to worry about her mother or Jonathan. But making memories with her family, outside of the blood. Glancing over at Serenity briefly, she sighed happily at how life managed to work, “I can’t seem to remember but I’m quite positive we made a bet on who and when we were going to have kids first.” Reminded Cassie, now flashing a devilish smile toward the woman beside her. Forever ago bet, thought Cassie. “And look at them now, being all adorable and acting like family. Sometimes I wonder what I would do without you, Mrs. Jackson,” she soothed, a warm smile playing upon mouth corners now for another second. Turning to Seren, she rested a hand underneath her chin for support. “Fill me in. Like on everything. I insist because the kids are over there and I need adult shit. No cookie cutter half assed lines. Lay it on me.”
