RED RUNES CYCLE: Elder Futhark Rune Art 2020
‘Futhark_Runes’ was the title of rune art originally created in 2003 and this image represents an attempt to update the concept with contemporary Serif Draw X8 software. The design went through various evolutions before settling down into at present seven formats.
Backgrounds for all the images were sourced from Tumblr, Pinterest and Flickr with kind appreciation expressed to any originator if they recognise their picture. All rune art shown was created for enjoyment and to honour the Runes deep “in my bones” with the enduring inspiration provided by footsteps with The Old Gods with whom my personal growth has been shared for years.
