nuerons are created in the first stages of life when the brain begins to develop. we are born with more neurons than we will ever need. Breain development is actually the process of creating, strengthening, and discarding connections among the neurons, which is called synapses. in the early stages of life, when we are babies and toddlers, we make millions of connects, which is why children can learn languages quickly. as we age we begins to specialize these connections and discard the ones we don't use. as we grown it is harder for our brain to make connections between neurons and that is why it is harder for adults to learn new things.
