INTRODUCING VERSE 001: SUPERNATURAL 

SETTING: THE SWISS ALPS 

SPECIES: witches, vampires, fae, werewolves, lycanthropes, ghosts, hunters, humans, shapeshifters, merfolk. disclaimer: we won’t have a set lore for any of the species, allowing members to have a say in what species entails. we will also add to the list, though this will not include any species that may be offensive to include from specific cultures, such as w/nd/go.

SYNOPSIS:  

In 1472, the town of Wengen, Switzerland came together quite peacefully as it’s inhabitants were predominantly human carrying out families for generations. Meanwhile, a couple of kilometers away was a coven of witches who seamlessly lived among the humans, never being detected for being supernatural. Even when they were found out during the plague of 1475, they proved their peaceful place in society by healing civilians that fell victim to the spreading disease. Though most of the witches agreed to live peacefully, and tales of the humans displaying outstanding understanding and bravery spread to other countries, the rumors eventually caught the attention of other species of supernatural hoping to find peace themselves. Located in the Swiss alps, Wengen lies in a small, quaint mountainous village of Switzerland and is a welcoming sanctuary to all supernaturals, and humans alike. But how long can so many different species live in harmony?

introducing verse 002: SCOOBY DOO / MYSTERY 

SETTING: Coolsville, Ohio  SPECIES: various species seen in scooby doo and shows/movies similar, some of them real others just people taking advantage of the paranoia.  WRITTEN BY: kassie, with help from apollo &  rosalie 

SYNOPSIS: 

In Coolsville, Ohio, once a sleepy town, there's now trouble at every turn. One evening a young, ambitious, self-proclaimed detective snuck into the Historical Society, searching for a clues about her missing mother. Instead, she heard a strange rattling come from inside an array of historical lockers.

They were kept sealed with the help of a circuit, and for good reason; when the detective's investigations accidentally opened them, ghosts, spirits, and other impossible creatures were released onto the town. 

Upon investigation, a handful of these instances have been debunked, blamed on local pranksters, tricksters eager to cash in on the paranoia, however… there are plenty of files stacked high in the unsolved cabinet. The occurrences where there was an attempt at unmasking and, well, there was no mask to pull away, no identity to discover. 

 Following these events, an unsolicited newspaper began showing up on doorsteps with information surrounding the sudden new arrivals. Desperate to educate the townspeople on who - or what - was beneath these monstrous masks. From local politicians to teens on a dare to ancient spirits who weren’t too happy to be woken up, there’s an unknown that the citizens of Coolsville wake up to every day. However, the mysterious author behind the newspaper seems to be the only one who might hold the answers. The clues. 

At the start, the majority of the townsfolk dismissed it, but gradually as mysterious things happened in the town, more and more began to believe something was up.

Now, some of the townsfolk have moved or gone into hiding, whilst some are still dismissing the claims as just hooligans causing mayhem, while others are finally listening and wanting to help in the fight to restore the peace of a once quiet town.
