Sweets leaned in the doorway and looked down as she explained her reasoning for being there. "Sure. Come on in." He moved away from the door and back inside his trailer. "Your dad drinking again?" He knew FP had an alcohol problem but he still absolutely adored the man. "You can take the bed."

FP pulled the flask from his mouth after a long drink. "JB, im not in the god damn mood to hear this right now." He was acutely aware that he wasnt the best father, hell he was barely there. He licked his lips and leaned back in the worn out chair as his eyes went to the sports game on the tv. The serpents had been running him ragged and he was turning to alcohol to deal with it like usual.

          despite liana’s words and her obvious safety, leah didn’t let go of her imprint for a few minutes. she knew the rez was the safest place for her, but she had a hard time letting her be there while she was stuck with obligations to jake’s pack. the cullen house was crawling with vampires and she was terrified that one would somehow slip the ranks of both packs and harm someone.  ❝ i’m sorry. i know i’m being a little over the top, but given my life’s track record... ❞ she didn’t finish the sentence. even though they were alone and she trusted liana completely, saying it out loud could make it more real and she didn’t want that.
