@serumcaptain : ❝ word of warning, slumber: will’s still pissed at you, by the way. i’d… avoid the ives twins for the next couple of days, if you can... ❞
that’s not surprising, not at all. they’d punched the boy-god in the face, it’s hardly the kind of thing he’d just get over. but slumber isn’t over it either, not in the slightest. ❝yeah, well, i’m still pissed at him too.❞ and they think they have far more reason to be, honestly. sure, slumber had punched him, but will killed their father. the two hardly match up in terms of badness, and slumber’s pretty much refusing to consider that robert was a bad guy. they’d get there, once the anger wears down. it’s already disappeared with empathy, giving way to whimpered apologies that never seem to end. they’d never stop apologising for what they’d said to him, truly believing themself to be the worst person in the world for daring to swear at their boyfriend, for telling him not to touch them when they were in that state. they’d be apologising to empathy for a long time. ❝maybe he should be avoiding me.❞ because will is the only one they’re mad at now, the only one they deem deserving of their rage. they won’t learn, not just yet, and that puts them in a pretty dangerous situation when it comes to the gods. but slumber still wears the bracelet and the pin, still upholds some form of respect for the gods, simply refusing to be happy with them.
