Ildio and Shuuhei?

(Idk it's just the first 2 I thought of-)

I was struggling so much to draw a second person so take Boar Ildio instead, also I drew Shuuhei from memory cause I was too lazy to get a picture-

So, chapter 103 came out and it shows Illdio’s conviction to his values. He doesn’t want to see vulnerable people hurt (children, elderly, animals, etc). He will walk away from his Eve if they break that one rule and then let their contract expire. I wonder how his morals affected his choice to have mafia bosses for Eves.

There’s a parallel between this reveal and Hyde’s past as Lawless. World End has a much better reason from forcibly breaking a contract than Lawless though.

During Hyde’s talk with Niccolo in the onsen, Hyde has a flashback to his conversation with Illdio. His attitude towards his Eve seem to be nonchalant and indifferent. “They’re ordinary” / “I’m always fine with whatever” / “It’s not like there’s any meaning”. He doesn’t remember the names of his past Eves.

His attitude is the direct opposite of Lawless. Lawless’s said he wanted a talented Eve to “pass the time” but it was a lie to himself. He actually wanted someone who could disprove his “humans can’t become anything” philosophy. On the other hand, World End doesn’t seem to care of who his Eve is (until they go against his morals and hurt a kid).

Niccolo’s comment that “Ill doesn’t have any interest in me” or “expectation of me” highlight Illdio’s strained connection to his Eves. I believe Illdio does care about Niccolo because he became his Eve and protected him since they met. But there seem to be a wall between them. We don’t know the reason Illdio has those walls around himself (whether it’s due to his experience as an immortal vampire or something specific like Lawless).

Licht was the one who made Hyde think of this past interaction. Hyde could see a bit of himself in World End where they were distant from their Eves and would discard of them without a second thought. Hyde has grown a lot and he can help Illdio and Niccolo.

“Yeah, your past Eves deserved it but let’s not be so hasty with Niccolo. It might’ve been an accident because Niccolo is under so much stress. Go and talk to him. Let’s also remember that we need Niccolo to defeat Tsubaki.” -Hyde, How Did I Become a Relationship Counselor For My Brother, Lawless of Greed.

Even though Hyde and Illdio didn’t have a lot of interaction, I thought they would have an interesting dynamic as brothers. I want to see Hyde talk to Illdio about what happened and encourage him to talk to Niccolo. It’ll highlight Hyde’s character development where he actually became more open to relationships again. Sleepy Life of Servamp have a few 4-komas of Hyde and Niccolo talking and bonding so their friendship can also be shown in future chapters.

I wonder if the next chapter will have Illdio immediately run into Hyde and they’ll talk or whether it’ll start with Niccolo being found by Misono so his wounds will be treated.
