Day 7 of Figure Month has gone to hell. Figure has had a decent tea party with Beelzebub and after much torturous pleading and begging, Figure agreed to feature him in Monsters Volume 4.

The Devil is that song that reminds of the true terror this being is demanding from our treacherous souls. The King of Evil and Sin can not be outrun, you only hope he isn’t coming for you.

As for the track, what a rush! From beginning to end this is a banger! Drumstep well defined. Just when you think things have calmed down they blast right back to full force.

Say your prayers, grab your Bible, and hope the beat doesn’t drag you to the depths of the abyss.

Continuing on to our second post of the day for Figure Month, I have to wonder about Halloween parties. Is it hard to get people dancing at them? I mean with their costumes and make-up, the crowded spaces, and the headaches already sustained from the sugar comas it would be pretty hard to get anyone moving out there.

Well, I don’t have to wonder thanks to Monster Mania by Figure. At first it sounds to spooky, but the pounding build up get the toes tapping. Heart beats start to kick up as high pitched synths feed the veins. Drop the first “Halloween” and the trashing becomes the most exciting thing ever.

With this track, Halloween won’t be the most terrifying night of the year; it will the most manic night of your life!!

Today is a metal day. Not only in sound, but also in thought and desire. First off is the ever-inspiring Noya and his clean presentation Metal Rain. Want to just rock out to sweet riffs and banging drums? This has your back. It never lets up, not even for a second. Pelting the ground with harsh distorted guitar, ending with an classic sounding 80's atmosynth. I'm no weatherman, but this storm is brewing for some righteous metal glory.

Time for a change of pace. A Violent Sky is powerful to say the least. The continuous flow of vocals, instruments, ambiance, and purpose captures you. This beautiful track is from Apparat's album "Krieg und Frieden" (Music for Theatre) which is influenced by Sebastian Hartmann's War and Peace. Edited tones and modern drums, accompanied by piano and an organic voice are seamless in performance. The sun rises, colors flash into life, creation breaths anew. Everything is possible under a violent sky.

Sorry about not making a long-winded blog for this song. It definitely deserves recognition for being supremely well put together. Plus it is in memory of Nitro Fun's granddaddy. That is amazing amount of heart put into this inspiring, powerful, and overwhelming progressive tune. Soldiers funnels the emotion of life and duty to the listener. Opening a sense of pride that isn't often felt.

Electronic symphonies pay homage to the true 8-bit hero, Mega Man! I'm speechless at the amazing work that Excision and Datsik put into this masterpiece. From dubstep, chiptune, trance, electro, and orchestra styles they hit everything on the mark. It's video game music bliss. Quite honestly, the definition of a video game adoration and respect.

Sorry about the short input from me today. Had a hard working weekend and really tiring to sleep and rest up. Hope you're enjoying the music and Happy Chipmas!

Why, yes this is a remix of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 theme. You mad bro? GET on my lvl ya newbs! lol jk gl hf Prestige 4 lyf....

Seriously, I have nothing against the Call of Duty series and find myself playing their new incarnations over and over again. Heck, without BLOPS 2 this amazing hip hop beat remix from Skrip wouldn't exist. The mesh of the original and genre style work well together. I'm really enjoying it!

Game. Of. Thrones. This is a short chip-cover of the theme for one of the most well made shows on television. I love it! It is done well and is exactly what I expected it to sound like 8-bitified. I can't get enough of the books, the lore, the show, the acting, the everything! Can't wait for the next season and all the new events that I can't spoil for my friends. Winter is coming.
