First of all, Cathar, thank you for setting this up and bringing the community together.
In the discord I feel uncomfortable giving my exact age, and would prefer if we had under or over 18 roles instead.
Also I’m wondering why it is 16+ instead of 13+, I personally remember being 13-15 and being annoyed at 16+ spaces, IMO either make it 13+ or 18+. That way as many people can contribute and read as possible, or you can make it only for adults if you want.

The only place I ask for your specific age is if you are applying for a position, otherwise it's age ranges. This is because of a few reasons:
I capped it at 16+ because as a grown adult, I want to keep my interaction with minors low. It makes me uncomfortable personally and 16 is the youngest I'm willing to allow into the server. An 'under 18 or over 18' role is far too broad in my opinion.
I also am going to be working very closely with the staff and speaking as a 13 year old that was chronically online, interacting with adults, it can be very detrimental even in the safest of places. And I'm not trying to enable that in any capacity.
The links to the issues will be published in the server first, but will be shared on this blog as well, so all ages will be able to access the magazine eventually.
As far as filling out the application, you can put the age range you selected in your roles, but that's the best I can do. I need transparency from the staff. I hope you understand as I try my best to keep people safe <3
